Photographing births is special. That’s an understatement. Photographing a birth for a friend… That is beyond special.

Lauren told me she was expecting very early on in the piece so this birth felt like a LONG time coming. Josh had been overseas most of her pregnancy (remember her maternity session ??) so to finally be documenting this moment, with the family re-united and welcoming their first little boy was an incredible privilege.
