The Birth of B | A roadside birth in Ayr

B came into the world too quickly to even make it to the hospital in time! I had driven to Ayr from Townsville and was only 2 minutes away from the hospital when I got a text that B’s mum and dad had left the house to drive to the hospital, so I raced to meet them there only to discover they were nowhere in sight. Finally I was ushered into the ambulance bay where I was met by Brydie and Sean and their brand new baby! In the end I think the labour was documented as 6 minuted of active labour so B was sure in a hurry to make it into the world!!
