A Relaxed Saturday Morning Newborn Session | Townsville Family Lifestyle Photography

Just before Christmas a beautiful new mama contacted me inquiring about newborn photos. I was about 4 days off flying down to NSW for 3 weeks to do some doula/childbirth educator training, so I ended up shooting the session on my way to the airport! Having said that I wouldn’t have wanted to start my morning any other way. It was a gorgeous sunny Saturday morning, with light streaming into their beautiful old Queenslander. I even got treated to an exclusive reenactment of So Long Farewell by Rodgers and Hammerstein. If anyone is wondering — I LOVE in home family / newborn sessions and I will gladly drink coffee and chase your toddler around trying to get them to like me any day of the week ;)
