A family walk down by the river | Townsville Family & Lifestyle Photography

I have been off my social media game recently as I've had my head down churning through a pile of editing!  I thought I would briefly surface though, to share this special session with you all!

I love how small our regional city is and how quickly clients become friends, and how friends of former clients who have become friends become friends.... 🙈 So when I finally met Carley and her family in person I kind of felt like I had known her for a long time!!

These guys told me they had never had family photos taken, and so here I am thinking "eek no pressure!!"

Our session consisted of a fair bit of wrestling, and snacking, and being a bit (a lot) silly, and I love how Carley brought along the letters of their eldest son's name to honour his little life and his part in the family.  It's hard to find the right words to say about infant loss.  But as a mama to 5 with only 3 who joined us earthside I know how important it is to acknowledge  the ones who will always be with us in our hearts.

So in memory of Jax.  This is your wild little family who love you dearly.
